A leading global quantitative investment firm is hiring a C++ Quant Developer for its equities and futures desk in Paris. What You'll Be Doing:
- Work closely with quantitative researchers to implement, optimise, and maintain trading models used in live execution
- Design and develop high-performance simulation and backtesting frameworks to evaluate strategies under realistic market conditions
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and analysis across large datasets
- Develop latency-sensitive components for strategy execution, order management, and market data handling
What They Are Looking For:
- 3-10 years of professional experience in modern C++ (C++14/17/20), with at least 2 years on a trading floor or in a front-office quant/dev role
- Strong understanding of low-latency systems, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimisation
- Experience with market microstructure, exchange protocols, and automated trading workflows
- Familiarity with Linux systems, networking, and distributed computing
