Product Risk Manager

Overview:
As a key member of the Change Governance & Risk Oversight team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Your primary focus will be to ensure that business changes are executed with a strong risk management mindset, in alignment with internal standards and external regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units and risk partners to review and approve risk assessments for new initiatives and product launches.
  • Guide stakeholders through the change management lifecycle, ensuring all activities adhere to established governance frameworks.
  • Build and nurture relationships with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
  • Provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to colleagues and business leaders on best practices in risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Stay informed on evolving regulatory landscapes and internal policy updates, translating these into actionable guidance for project teams.
  • Evaluate business strategies and operational plans to ensure alignment with risk appetite and organizational objectives.
  • Support the design and implementation of effective controls within business processes, and monitor their ongoing effectiveness.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of risk incidents and issues, collaborating with oversight functions to ensure robust remediation and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process innovation and efficiency.
  • Prepare teams for internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and other assurance activities.
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Product Risk experience.
  • In-depth understanding of risk management, controls, or compliance within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale programs with measurable results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a flexible approach to shifting priorities.
  • Analytical thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms.
