About Company:

Our client is a start up data centre platform dedicated to building and managing data centre portfolios across Asia Pacific. The firm is committed to delivering innovative investment strategies, optimizing operational performance, and driving sustainable growth while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.

Role Overview:
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for crafting investment packages, managing client and fund expectations, and achieving company goals while mitigating risks to build a successful APAC data centre platform. The role involves detailed analysis, documentation of processes, and oversight of day-to-day portfolio assignments and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with company goals, risk appetite, and market conditions.
  • Manage and optimize portfolios, including new data centre investments (brownfield, greenfield, acquisitions).
  • Evaluate and streamline business processes, driving automation, modernization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct analysis, presentations, and stakeholder engagement to align investments with broader strategy.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risks, and market trends, adjusting strategies to maximize IRR.
  • Oversee asset management, forecasting CAPEX/OPEX budgets while ensuring resiliency and client SLAs.
  • Research industries, companies, and partnership opportunities; identify potential acquisitions or takeover candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, investor disclosures, and risk management frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, investment strategy, or related fields.
  • Strong background in data centre investments, infrastructure, or real assets preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex portfolios and deliver optimal returns.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Proficient in Mandarin
