Lead Quant Strategist
Introduction
My client a leading buy-side multi-manager are looking to bring in an experienced Quantitative Strategist profile to join one of their most established teams. As a key member of the team, you'll contribute to the development of the firm's cutting-edge derivatives pricing infrastructure. as well as providing quantitative support and strategy insight to systematic PM's.
Key Responsibilties
- Build pricing models for new financial instruments from the ground up-covering everything from initial research and prototyping to documentation and testing.
- Develop and implement models across a broad spectrum of asset classes, including both standard and complex derivatives.
- Partner with our Research and Trading teams to support strategy development through backtesting and live deployment.
- Collaborate with Risk and Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of models into real-time pricing engines and market data systems.
Key Requirements
- +10 years of experience as a Front Office Pricing Quant, with hands-on collaboration with traders.
- Strong modeling background in at least two asset classes
- A Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
- A solid grasp of stochastic processes and the theoretical foundations of derivatives pricing.
- Proficiency in C++, with familiarity in modern standards (C++17/20) considered a plus.
- A team-oriented attitude, practical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
- A willingness to guide and mentor junior team members.
