Lead, Credit Risk - Hong Kong
We are currently supporting a global financial institution in the search for a senior credit risk professional to join their second line of defence team in Hong Kong. This is a strategic role focused on managing credit and counterparty risk for a portfolio of institutional clients.
What does the role involve?
- Independently assess and approve credit requests within delegated authority
- Represent the risk function in credit committees and due diligence meetings
- Monitor portfolio performance and escalate emerging risks
- Collaborate with front office, credit analysts, and risk teams to ensure sound credit decisions
- Contribute to policy development, regulatory compliance, and risk governance
WHat experience do you need?
- Strong understanding of corporate banking and capital markets products
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Based in or open to relocating to Hong Kong
