Junior Crypto Quantitative Trader
A leading proprietary trading firm specialising in high‑frequency, ultra‑low‑latency trading across centralised crypto markets is seeking a Junior Quantitative Trader. As the firm continues to scale its presence across major CEXs, they are looking for a trader to help deploy, monitor, and optimise algorithmic trading strategies.
What You'll Do
- Deploy and optimise HFT and low‑latency crypto trading strategies.
- Analyse crypto market microstructure, funding dynamics, liquidity patterns, and cross‑venue inefficiencies.
- Develop and refine execution logic to minimise slippage and latency across global centralised exchanges.
- Monitor live trading performance, PnL behaviour, system health, and risk exposure across fragmented crypto markets.
Profile Requirements
- Advanced academic background in Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline (MSc/PhD preferred).
- Strong programming skills in Python and ideally C++ or Rust.
- 1-4 years' experience in quantitative trading on centralised crypto exchanges.
- Strong understanding of crypto markets, order‑book dynamics, and market microstructure.
