Java/React Full Stack Trading Systems Developer
An NYC based Hedge Fund is seeking a Software Engineer to join their systematic trading technology team, responsible for designing real time trading, compliance, and risk systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in designing and implementing distributed and scalable broker-neutral, multi-asset class (equities, futures/spreads, currencies) trading systems, as well as an understanding of market data, broker/exchange protocols, and valuation and pricing engines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evolve backend applications and user interfaces for multi-asset class trading systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and adhere to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript ES6, React, AG Grid.
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading workflows.
- Proficient in building scalable, distributed systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AWS, middleware, and caching frameworks.
- Knowledge of design principles and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and testing platforms.
