Investor Relations Vice President - Private Credit
Company Overview
You'll be joining a leading, independent global placement agent and advisory firm founded in 2004 and headquartered in London with offices also in the US and Asia, specialising in private equity, private credit and real assets. The firm has raised over $35 billion in capital commitments on behalf of clients.
In this role, you will overlook fundraising campaigns for private credit mandates. You'll manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and anticipate challenges to keep projects on track. This is a client-facing position, requiring you to build strong relationships with GPs and LPs, provide strategic advisory input, and represent the firm professionally in all interactions. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality marketing and due diligence materials, conducting market research, and advising clients on strategic positioning. The position demands autonomy and the ability to step in and take charge when needed, while also contributing to broader business development initiatives and process improvements.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of investor relations and fundraising campaigns for private credit mandates, working directly with GPs and LPs.
- Manage and coordinate all project‑management aspects of campaigns - setting timelines, tracking progress and ensuring smooth communication.
- Provide strategic advisory input: draft pitch decks, investor due diligence materials, market analyses, FAQs, and internal memos.
- Oversee campaign execution: liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners, supervise data collection, monitor engagement, and manage investor follow-up.
- Step in autonomously and take charge when senior colleagues are unavailable.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, credible investor targets, and emerging opportunities.
- Maintain and update client pipelines, CRM systems, and campaign documentation to support accurate reporting and strategic business development.
Ideal Candidate
- 4-6 years, preferably within private credit, within investor relations and/or project management seats.
- Strong track record in managing investor outreach and fundraising processes autonomously.
- Excellent project management skills: able to organise multi-touch campaigns, work across teams, keep stakeholders aligned, and meet strict deadlines.
- Skilled in developing pitch materials, preparing due diligence documents, and presenting actionable insights.
- Excellent communication: confident interfacing with LPs, GPs, internal teams, and external vendors.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented, cross-border advisory environment.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in another European language (e.g., French or German) is a plus.
