Investment Banking Managing Director - Remote
A well-established middle-market investment bank is seeking an experienced Managing Director to join its growing Investment Banking platform. This is an opportunity for a senior revenue-producing banker to leverage a highly entrepreneurial environment, robust execution support, and a flexible remote working structure while maintaining access to office locations as desired.
The firm is looking for an individual with a proven track record of originating and executing M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments across middle-market clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and lead investment banking engagements across mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory assignments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, private equity firms, institutional investors, and corporate executives.
- Generate new business opportunities and consistently build a strong transaction pipeline.
- Lead client presentations, negotiations, and transaction execution efforts from mandate through close.
- Partner with internal execution teams to deliver high-quality analytical and advisory services.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers while contributing to the overall growth of the platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on strategic, financial, and capital markets matters.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of investment banking experience, including experience at the Managing Director, Director, or Senior Vice President level.
- Demonstrated track record of originating and closing middle-market investment banking transactions.
- Strong network of corporate executives, private equity professionals, and capital providers.
- Experience leading M&A advisory, debt placement, equity placement, and/or strategic advisory engagements.
- Exceptional business development, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
- FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, and/or 79) preferred or ability to obtain.
