Position Overview
We are representing a highly productive boutique M&A shop as they look to hire an Investment Banking Director to join their Cincinnati office. This individual will play a critical leadership role in managing deal execution, mentoring junior bankers, and gradually expanding into business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage deal execution for middle-market M&A transactions across various industries.
- Supervise and mentor junior bankers, ensuring high-quality analysis, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and client relationship management.
- Drive process efficiency and maintain best practices in deal execution.
- Transition into business development over time, including sourcing new opportunities and cultivating client relationships.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on M&A.
- Currently at SVP or Director level in an investment banking role.
- Proven track record of executing middle-market M&A transactions.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing junior team members.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a boutique environment with entrepreneurial flexibility.
