Selby Jennings is partnering with a boutique Investment Bank/Private Equity firm headquartered in Las Vegas, specializing in middle-market transactions, with a strong focus on real estate, gaming, and hospitality sectors. They offer a unique platform providing hands-on exposure to capital markets, M&A, and private equity through their affiliated fund.
They are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions and gain significant client exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior bankers in executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analyses, and prepare client presentations.
- Conduct industry and company research to support deal origination and execution.
- Participate in due diligence and coordinate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in managing relationships with investors and strategic partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in investment banking, commercial banking, or real estate lending (strong Analysts considered).
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ties to Las Vegas (family, partner, prior residency, etc.) or strong affinity for the region.
- Interest in gaming, real estate, and middle-market transactions.
