Investment Banking Associate/VP - Healthcare M&A
Overview
A middle-market investment bank with a strong presence in healthcare is seeking Associates/VP's to support its M&A advisory practice. The team specializes in healthcare services, HCIT, hospitals, and senior living, advising on sell-side, buy-side, recapitalizations, and private placements.
This role offers significant transaction exposure, client interaction, and responsibility in both execution and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analyses for live deals and pitches
- Support preparation of client presentations, marketing materials, and proposals
- Execute across all phases of M&A and capital raising transactions
- Conduct financial statement analysis, benchmarking, and industry research
- Interact with management teams, private equity sponsors, and senior bankers
- Manage workflow and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to business development efforts and firm positioning
Qualifications
- ~3+ years of investment banking experience (M&A preferred)
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skillset (3-statement fluency)
- Demonstrated transaction experience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Strong communication, project management, and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus
