Overview:
Our client is seeking an Experienced Associate to join their Corporate Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions, gain exposure to a wide range of industries, and collaborate closely with senior professionals. This Associate will work closely with a Managing Director in Los Angeles to support deal execution and establish the firm's LA presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
- Conduct financial analysis, valuations, and due diligence
- Prepare presentations and pitch materials for clients
- Participate in client meetings and assist with marketing initiatives
- Mentor junior team members across offices and contribute to firm-wide projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- 4+ years of investment banking experience (M&A, leveraged finance, restructuring, or capital markets)
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, accretion/dilution, synergy analysis)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
