Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored fixed income solutions to a sophisticated client base, with a strong emphasis on UK insurance companies. The role combines market expertise, product structuring, and relationship management to drive revenue growth and deepen strategic client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with UK-based insurance clients, acting as a trusted advisor across fixed income solutions
- Originate and execute solutions across rates, credit, structured products, and financing
- Identify client needs and deliver bespoke investment and risk management strategies
- Collaborate closely with trading, structuring, and research teams to deliver differentiated client outcomes
- Expand coverage into bank treasuries and financial institutions, supporting broader franchise growth
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and accounting frameworks impacting insurance portfolios (e.g. Solvency II considerations)
- Contribute to overall business strategy, pipeline development, and revenue generation targets
Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years' experience in Fixed Income Sales / Solutions Sales within a leading financial institution
- Proven track record covering insurance clients, ideally within the UK market
- Strong product knowledge across fixed income, including credit, rates, and structured solutions
- Experience engaging with bank treasury clients is advantageous
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Commercial mindset with demonstrable revenue generation capability
- Strong academic background
