Job Description

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Managing level 2 and 3 IT support
  • Maintaining and upgrading global systems
  • Coordinating with software and hardware vendors
  • Ensuring high security standards across infrastructure

Scope includes: servers, storage systems, video-conferencing platforms, and IT service management tools.


Key Responsibilities

Incident Management and Support

  • Resolve level 2 incidents across technical domains
  • Document procedures and train level 1 support teams
  • Occasionally provide direct level 1 support
  • Collaborate with external service providers

Maintenance and Operations

  • Administer Windows and Linux server environments
  • Manage storage infrastructure (e.g., VSAN)
  • Support video conferencing systems
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Oversee maintenance and support contracts

Infrastructure Projects

  • Lead and contribute to infrastructure transformation initiatives

Service Continuity

  • Provide emergency support in collaboration and network areas during team absences

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience with Windows and Linux server management
  • Strong understanding of security and confidentiality
  • Expertise in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, VSAN)
  • Experience with cloud administration (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow is a plus)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
