IG Credit Sales - Director
A top-tier global investment bank is seeking a Director-level Credit Sales professional to join its expanding fixed income sales team. This role is focused primarily on Investment Grade Credit, with selective exposure to High Yield, and will initially cover real money accounts. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the desk and shaping its future direction, with clear leadership opportunities as the franchise continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of IG credit products to institutional clients, with a focus on real money accounts.
- Develop and deepen relationships with asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.
- Collaborate with trading, research, and syndicate teams to deliver market insights and trade ideas.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the strategic growth of the credit sales franchise.
- Mentor junior team members and help build a high-performing sales culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in IG Credit Sales, ideally with some exposure to High Yield.
- Strong client relationships across real money accounts.
- Deep understanding of credit markets, products, and portfolio needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
