Fund Financing Sales
Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven professional to join our Alternative Credit Sales team, focusing on fund financing and capital raising. The role will involve both origination and distribution of financing solutions for alternative investment funds, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and fund managers.
This is a front-office role suited to someone with a deep understanding of the alternative credit landscape, including fund structures, capital markets, and structured financing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and structure fund financing solutions across a range of strategies including NAV-based lending, subscription lines, hybrid facilities, and bespoke asset-backed structures.
- Lead and support capital raising efforts for private credit and alternative investment strategies, targeting institutional investors, family offices, and asset managers.
- Manage the end-to-end distribution process, including investor engagement, documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders (legal, credit, structuring, and risk).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fund managers, private capital sponsors, and institutional investors across the UK and Europe.
- Collaborate with internal teams including structuring, trading, and syndicate to deliver tailored financing and investment solutions.
- Monitor market trends and investor appetite to identify new business opportunities and inform product development.
- Represent the team in client meetings, industry events, and internal strategy discussions.
Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in fund financing, structured credit, capital raising, or alternative credit sales.
- Proven track record in both origination and distribution of credit or financing solutions.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, private markets, and institutional investor dynamics.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach and strong execution capabilities.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations in fund finance and private credit markets.
