A leading global investment bank is seeking to appoint a Director within its Fixed Income Structured Solutions team in London. This role sits within a well‑established platform and will focus on delivering bespoke structured solutions to bank and financial institution clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in originating, structuring and executing complex fixed income solutions across rates and credit, working closely with sales, trading and structuring teams to deliver tailored outcomes for banking counterparties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Origination and execution of structured fixed income solutions for bank and financial institution clients
- Acting as a senior coverage point for treasury, ALM and investment teams within banking clients
- Structuring bespoke solutions across rates, credit and hybrid structures
- Partnering closely with trading, risk and legal teams to ensure efficient execution
- Contributing to product development and idea generation aligned with client balance sheet needs
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to the broader growth of the platform
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in fixed income structured solutions, structuring or structuring‑led sales
- Strong track record covering bank / financial institution clients
- Deep understanding of balance sheet, regulatory and capital considerations
- Strong technical structuring skillset across rates and/or credit products
- Commercial mindset with the ability to originate and develop long‑term client relationships
- Experience operating at VP or Director level within a leading investment bank
