Cross Asset Structuring Associate
Key Responsibilities
Structure, price, and manage a diverse range of cross-asset transactions and products, including (but not limited to):
- On-/off-balance sheet note issuance
- Repos (GMRA-based)
- Options and swaps (ISDA-based)
- Securities borrowing and lending (GMSLA-based)
- Structured financing and cross-border solutions (e.g., QDII/QFII)
- Product onboarding and distribution
Design and implement new products, infrastructure, and cross-asset strategies to meet internal and client needs, with a focus on optimizing risk-adjusted returns.
Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with department heads, contributing to the firm's long-term development and innovation.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Middle Office, Legal, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and other front-office teams) to identify market opportunities and enhance operational workflows.
Requirements
Proven ability to remain composed under pressure, with strong execution skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
Bachelor's degree required; a background in finance or related fields is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role on a trading floor within a reputable financial institution.
Deep understanding of structured products and instruments, including repos, total return swaps, FX swaps, SBL, and structured notes, along with relevant accounting knowledge.
Programming proficiency (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) is a strong advantage for process automation, data analysis, and model development.
Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential; Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
