Credit Underwriting Analyst (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for manufacturer brands, building strong relationships and ensuring smooth communication.
- Review and validate credit applications and documentation, proactively identifying missing information and coordinating with customers and sales teams.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of companies applying for leasing solutions, interpreting annual financial statements and business performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while assessing creditworthiness and preparing well-supported credit recommendations.
- Develop accurate credit ratings and risk assessments within delegated authority.
- Collaborate with relationship managers on complex cases, providing expert input and participating in client meetings.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving credit processes and operational efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in credit analysis or underwriting, preferably in banking or leasing.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment for credit decisions.
- Work Style: Independent, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English and German.
- Extra: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
