Position Summary

My client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Controller to lead and manage all aspects of financial operations across multiple entities. This role is responsible for accounting, reporting, payroll, tax filings, and compliance, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every process. The Controller will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to provide actionable financial insights, support strategic planning, and implement best practices that strengthen internal controls and optimize performance. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and bring a collaborative mindset to cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting systems, internal controls, and month-end close
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and KPI dashboards
  • Manage AP/AR, vendor payments, and client invoicing
  • Handle payroll processing, benefits contributions, and compliance
  • Track commissions and revenue metrics; produce profitability reports
  • Coordinate tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance
  • Administer corporate credit cards, expense tracking, and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
  • 6+ years in financial management; multi-entity experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
