These opportunities span structured commodity solutions, OTC derivatives sales, and institutional brokerage roles, offering exposure to corporates, commodity trading houses, hedge funds, asset managers, producers, merchants, and financial institutions across APAC.
As part of the firm expansion, we are seeking for Commodities Sales, OTC Derivatives, and Commodities Brokerage professionals with strong client relationships across Energy, Precious Metals, Agriculture, and Soft Commodities markets.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to leverage existing client relationships, originate new business, and play a key role in driving revenue growth within growing franchises and elevate their careers within leading market platforms.
Mandate 1 of 3: Commodities Sales, Structured Solutions
We are seeking for an experienced and commercially driven Commodities Sales to originate, structure, and execute bespoke commodity-linked solutions for institutional and corporate clients across APAC. This role sits within the financial institution in a non-flow sales team and focuses on delivering tailored risk management, financing, and structured solutions beyond standard flow products.
The successful candidate will play a key role in deepening strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth through complex, value-added transactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage senior relationships with key institutional investors, corporates, and strategic clients across the region
- Identify client needs and originate bespoke commodity-linked solutions aligned with their risk, financing, and investment objectives
- Design and execute tailored structures including commodity financing, structured hedging, derivatives, and hybrid solutions
- Work across asset classes where relevant (e.g., commodities-linked rates, FX, or credit overlays)
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through high-value, non-flow transactions
- Maintain a strong pipeline of structured opportunities and convert them into executed deals
- Partner closely with trading, structuring, risk, and legal teams to deliver innovative and compliant solutions
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure effective execution and risk management
- Maintain strong awareness of commodity markets, macroeconomic trends, and client developments
Requirements
- Significant experience in commodities sales, structuring, or trading, with a strong focus on non-flow / structured solutions
- Deep understanding of commodity markets (energy, metals, or agriculture) and associated derivatives
- Proven track record of originating and executing complex transactions and delivering revenue growth
- Strong client network across Asia, with the ability to engage at senior decision-making levels
- Excellent structuring capability and commercial acumen
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across regional/global teams
Mandate 2 of 3: Sales OTC- Agriculture / Soft Commodities (Derivatives)
We are partnering with an established commodities risk management platform and the organization is seeking to hire an experienced Sales OTC professional to strengthen its Agriculture / Soft Commodities derivatives franchise in Singapore.
This role is focused on driving client flow, providing liquidity, and expanding OTC derivatives coverage across key agriculture and soft commodities markets. The position offers strong autonomy and the opportunity to build a meaningful revenue-generating desk within a growing platform.
Responsibilities
- Execute OTC derivatives transactions across agriculture / soft commodities (e.g., sugar, coffee, cocoa, grains, oilseeds)
- Facilitate price discovery and liquidity provision for institutional clients
- Business development, manage, and monetise a portfolio of clients, including commodity trading houses, hedge funds / commodity funds, producers / merchants and commercial hedgers
- Drive flow across swaps, options, and structured derivative products
- Act as a trusted intermediary between counterparties, ensuring efficient execution and market access
- Provide real-time market colour, pricing insights, and trade ideas to clients
- Identify relative value and arbitrage opportunities across OTC and listed markets
- Collaborate with internal teams (risk, clearing, structuring) to execute complex transactions
Requirements
- At least 8-10+ years' experience in commodities broking, trading, or derivatives sales in the ags/soft commodities market
- Strong focus on OTC derivatives
- Proven ability to generate flow and build long-term client relationships
- Solid understanding of OTC products (swaps, options, structured trades), Futures vs OTC market dynamics and volatility and hedging strategies
- Existing client network in APAC (trading houses, funds, commercials) is highly advantageous
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of revenue generation
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, voice-driven / hybrid execution environment
Mandate 3 of 3: Commodities Derivatives Broker (APAC) - Precious Metals/ Energy / Agriculture & Soft Commodities
We are partnering with a leading financial markets platform with an established presence across Asia and ambitious growth plans within the commodities derivatives space.
Due to strong business momentum and increasing client activity across regional commodity markets, they are seeking to engage high-calibre Commodities Derivatives Brokers on an opportunistic basis. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing franchise with significant management support and the flexibility to build around existing product expertise and client relationships.
The firm is open to speaking with candidates covering a broad range of commodity products, including precious metals, energy, agricultural commodities. The focus is on identifying commercially driven professionals who can contribute to the continued expansion of the commodities business across the APAC region.
This role can be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients across APAC, including commodity traders, hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, corporates, producers, and financial institutions.
- Drive brokerage revenues across exchange-traded and/or OTC commodity derivatives products.
- Originate new business opportunities and expand the firm's footprint within regional commodities markets.
- Provide clients with market insights, product solutions, execution support, and commercial guidance.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across trading, product, clearing, risk, operations, and compliance functions.
- Identify emerging market trends and recommend new product opportunities to support business growth.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Represent the firm professionally across industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience within commodities brokerage, futures brokerage, institutional sales, commodity derivatives, or related financial markets roles.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and managing institutional client relationships.
- Strong understanding of listed futures, cleared derivatives, and/or OTC commodity products.
- Existing network across commodities market participants within Asia would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Commercially driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong revenue-generation capability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a regional platform.
