Job Title: Client Service Executive (P&C)
Location: Birmingham, AL
Our client is seeking a Client Service Executive (CSE) to join their team. The CSE will play a crucial role in managing client accounts and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This position involves strategic planning, client retention, and business development. As a senior team member, the CSE will mentor colleagues, lead renewal presentations, and maintain strong relationships with carriers and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Service Executive, you will:
Account Management
- Ensure compliance with all documentation and regulatory requirements
- Oversee billing and manage aged receivables
- Review account reports and take necessary actions
- Communicate directly with managers and producers about staff, client, and claim issues
- Provide feedback to Associates/Assistants and escalate issues to managers when needed
- Delegate tasks effectively to optimize team performance
- Conduct account benchmarking and budgeting as required
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
New & Renewal Accounts
- Initiate pre-renewal and strategy discussions with clients
- Handle client renewal presentations and proposals independently
- Prepare and present broker service proposals
- Conduct WC Experience Mod Forecasting and Analysis
- Create and deliver stewardship reports
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums for new and renewal accounts
- Ensure all client service calendar obligations are met in collaboration with producers
Mentorship & Development
- Mentor team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth
- Teach classes on insurance coverage, endorsements, procedures, or best practices
- Participate in continuing education (CE) and work towards obtaining industry designations as directed by management
- Stay informed on market trends and emerging risks, sharing knowledge with the team
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance Agent's License
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in managing client accounts and conducting renewals
- Ability to negotiate effectively and independently
- Strong analytical skills for conducting benchmarking, budgeting, and WC Experience Mod Analysis
