Job Title: Bank Debt and TRS Operations Analyst
Location: NYC or Norwalk, CT (hybrid)
Salary: $90k - $125k + Bonus
Summary:
We are representing a leading hedge fund seeking skilled trade operations professionals to join their expanding team. In this role, you will confirm and execute long-short trades promptly while handling additional tasks. You will collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, brokers, and other relevant parties, contributing to the team's market growth. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full trade lifecycle for Bank Debt and Total Return Swaps.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with trading, fund accounting, technology, and risk teams to manage all trade lifecycle events, with a focus on total return swaps (TRS) and bank debt.
- Oversee swap resets, trade bookings, corporate action processing, P&L inquiries, and daily reconciliations within Geneva.
- Coordinate ClearPar time lines and ensure timely finalization of loan settlements.
- Set up and maintain loan instruments in Geneva, including features such as payment-in-kind (PIK) interest and paydowns.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and partner with internal and external stakeholders to define and implement detailed solutions.
- Review daily TRS and loan-related transactions, positions, and cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with bank loans and other complex financial instruments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to prioritize daily operational tasks effectively.
