Vice President, FI Lending
We are looking for an experienced VP to join the bank's Financial Institutions Lending team in Singapore. This role focuses on providing credit risk analysis, executing lending transactions, and managing portfolios for banks and NBFI clients across the Asia-Pacific region. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams to support the growth of the FIL, Fund Finance APAC (FFA), and Insurance Sector Finance (ISF) businesses.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Credit Evaluation:
Perform in-depth credit risk evaluations for FI and NBFI clients by reviewing financials, assessing lending requests, and recommending appropriate credit structures and terms. - Deal Execution:
Support deal origination by identifying business opportunities, conducting due diligence, and liaising with internal teams to align with commercial goals. Collaborate with the FI Coverage team on pricing, proposal development, and term sheet preparation, while overseeing the loan documentation process with legal advisors. - Portfolio Oversight:
Oversee active portfolios by managing loan amendments, reviewing client financials and compliance certificates, ensuring covenant adherence, and updating internal systems and records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial institutions, investment, or corporate banking.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field; a Master's degree or CFA certification is advantageous.
- Proven experience in originating and executing lending transactions.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in IT tools.
