About the Role:
A rapidly growing fintech firm is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join its high-impact finance team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the company's financial and investment strategies, supporting key decision-making and helping drive strategic initiatives across the organization.
The analyst will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights through financial modeling, performance analysis, and strategic planning. The position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in corporate finance, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and long-range modeling to support growth.
- Build dynamic models to evaluate new product launches, pricing strategies, and market expansion.
- Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPI deep dives.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as M&A, fundraising, and capital allocation assessments.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to design and implement new workflows, operational benchmarks and analytical frameworks.
- Enhance financial systems to improve reporting efficiency and automation initiatives
- Contribute to capital raising efforts, corporate transactions, and communications with external stakeholders
- Develop and present data-driven insights through visual reports and dashboards tailored for senior executives, board members, and investors
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a finance related role. Preferably within FP&A, M&A or financial planning.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or other business-related fields
- High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft products
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to synthesize complex datasets
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
