Senior Pricing Actuary - Longevity
We're working with a top global reinsurer that's growing rapidly and looking to expand its team with top-tier talent. They're hiring a Senior Pricing Actuary to join their Global Longevity Pricing team, focusing on U.S. longevity reinsurance deals-especially in the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) space. The role uses GGY AXIS for modeling and offers a hybrid work setup based out of Charlotte, NC, a city known for its scenic beauty and proximity to both mountains and coast.
They're seeking an FSA or experienced ASA with strong actuarial modeling skills and a passion for innovation. Here are the key highlights:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead modeling and pricing of U.S. longevity reinsurance deals from start to finish.
- Collaborate on pricing and bid strategies with team leadership.
- Research and develop benchmark pricing bases for U.S. and new markets.
- Enhance pricing tools and methodologies for accuracy and efficiency.
- Engage with clients during negotiations, conferences, and due diligence.
Technical Skills:
- Strong actuarial modeling and analytical skills.
- Experience with GGY AXIS or similar projection systems.
- Comfortable working with large datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills; R experience is a plus.
Behavioral Competencies:

- Self-starter who thrives both independently and in teams.

Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years in life (re)insurance, pricing, valuation, or consulting.
- PRT market experience preferred but not required.
