Portfolio Manager Support Engineer
Position Summary

Core Responsibilities
User Support & Enablement: Serve as a key resource for investment teams, delivering personalized support, training, and onboarding for platform services and infrastructure tools.
Technical Education & Platform Advocacy: Guide users through the technology ecosystem, offering training and support for tools such as AWS, Airflow, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and others used in development, deployment, and monitoring.
Workflow Optimization: Partner with analytics and engineering teams to streamline data workflows, enhance documentation, and promote best practices in data usage and automation.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication across departments to identify solutions, advocate for product improvements, and share insights across global teams.
Incident Response & Service Delivery: Provide proactive incident management and ensure timely resolution of technical issues, continuously refining support processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Linux and Python.
Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, automation tools, and database concepts, with a willingness to learn and grow across technical domains.
Preferred Experience
Background in financial services, such as asset management, banking, or commodities.
Exposure to messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), trading or risk platforms, and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
