To strengthen their finance team, they are now seeking a Senior Financial Accounatnt (m/f/d) to join them in Berlin.
As a Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of the company. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure financial compliance, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about building scalable financial systems.
- Lead financial operations including accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities.
- Own month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Drive automation and process improvements within finance operations.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership based on financial data and trends.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Several years of experience in financial management, ideally within a tech or FinTech environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international setting.
