Sales Associate - Systematic Hedge Fund
Selby Jennings is exclusively partnering with a leading systematic hedge fund managing over $10 billion in assets to identify a high-calibre Sales Support & Digital Sales Associate. This is a hybrid, London-based role offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders and the full capital-raising lifecycle across EMEA and APAC.
The Opportunity:
This role is ideal for a structured, tech-savvy individual with a commercial mindset and a passion for emerging technologies. You'll work closely with the Head of Business Development and global sales leadership to drive investor targeting, support fundraising activity, and build scalable digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Investor Support
- Map institutional and family office investors across EMEA/APAC
- Coordinate investor outreach campaigns and roadshows
- Assist with scheduling, tracking responses, and adapting outreach templates using AI tools
CRM & Data Automation
- Manage and optimize HubSpot CRM pipelines and reporting
- Clean and structure investor data using Excel and AI agents
- Build automated workflows for engagement tracking and lead scoring
- Maintain investor intelligence from third-party databases (e.g. Dakota)
AI & Workflow Innovation
- Leverage tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and transcription software to enhance internal workflows
- Build prompt templates and AI workflows to accelerate research, investor reports, and data cleaning
- Test and improve scalable digital outreach processes
- Research creative ways to develop networking opportunities using AI and related technology

Candidate Profile:
- Highly organized and systems-oriented, with strong attention to detail
- Able to learn quickly and apply AI tools in a business context
- Calm under pressure, with a focus on efficiency and process
- Tech-savvy, with a background in finance, data, or marketing
- Familiar with institutional allocators such as family offices, pension funds, and consultants
- Able to explain technical or systematic concepts in simple terms
- Interest in emerging technologies and their business applications
Preferred Experience:
- 1-4 years in investor relations, sales support, consulting, CRM, fintech, VC business development, or data-driven operations
- Completed a relevant AI course or demonstrable AI workflow experience
- Experience working with or selling to institutions or UHNW individuals
- Familiarity with quantitative strategies, hedge funds, or systematic investing is a plus
- European language skills beneficial but not essential
