A premier firm is seeking a Portfolio Analyst for its investment team. This opportunity offers the chance to report directly to the Head of Investments, oversee portfolio management functions, and develop new products.

The ideal candidate is a deep thinker in equities, with a strong ability to own and execute on an investment strategy. Success in this role requires a results-driven mindset, direct execution capabilities, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage exchange fund portfolios to ensure ongoing alignment with stated investment objectives.
  • Implement long and short equity strategies, hedging techniques, derivatives, and other portfolio tools as appropriate.
  • Act as a product-focused subject matter expert, proactively exploring new areas and identifying practical paths forward.
  • Actively execute on investment strategy
  • Identify and evaluate tactical opportunities and relevant market trends.
  • Contribute to investment research, white papers, and educational materials related to concentrated stock solutions.
  • Support client-facing teams in discussions with investors, advisors, and institutional partners.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in portfolio management, investment strategy, or risk management across multiple asset classes, including equities, derivatives, real assets, and private investments.
  • Demonstrated strength in quantitative analysis, including financial modeling, factor-based analysis, and portfolio risk frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing hedging solutions using options, swaps, or structured instruments, with a solid grasp of related tax implications.
  • Familiarity with concentrated equity strategies or high‑net‑worth investment solutions is advantageous.
  • Deep enthusiasm for investing and a strong commitment to achieving outstanding client outcomes.
  • Advanced credentials such as the CFA or a graduate degree are desirable but not required for candidates with comparable professional experience.
