Operations Analyst - Global Macro Hedge Fund [6‑Month Contract]
Responsibilities for the Operations Analyst - Global Macro Hedge Fund:
- Deliver day‑to‑day operational support across global discretionary trading strategies
- Manage the end‑to‑end trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations
- Identify, investigate, and resolve trade breaks and operational discrepancies in a timely manner
- Responsible for NAV, reconciliation, P&L reporting, etc.
- Liaise with external counterparties, brokers, custodians, and service providers
- Support adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with ad‑hoc operational tasks, process improvements, and documentation as required
- Ensure continuity of operations and minimal disruption during the leave cover period
Requirements for the Operations Analyst - Global Macro Hedge Fund:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in operations within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking
- Exposure to global markets and multi‑asset products, including derivatives
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
