Responsibilities for the LPG Operator - Global Commodity Trading Firm
- Execute and Oversee Physical LPG Trades - Manage end-to-end operations of LPG trading activities, ensuring timely delivery and smooth execution of physical trades.
- Coordinate Scheduling and Vessel Operations - Collaborate with traders, charterers, shippers, terminals, and internal teams to plan and schedule gas flows and vessel movements efficiently.
- Handle Documentation, Compliance, and Financial Processes - Manage logistics documentation, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and support invoice preparation and settlement with finance teams.
- Monitor Operations and Drive Process Improvements - Track daily operations, resolve issues, reconcile inventories, and contribute to system enhancements and risk management initiatives.
Requirements for the LPG Operator - Global Commodity Trading Firm
- At least 2-3 years of direct LPG experience (pressured and/or refrigerated)
- At least a total of 5-7 years of progressive Shipping / Cargo Operations experience
- Degree in a related field (i.e. Shipping, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies)
- Meticulous and high attention to details
