IT Support Analyst

An established investment management firm is seeking a mid-level IT Support Analyst to join its tech-support help desk team based in London. This role will provide operational support across a range of end-user applications and workstation hardware, primarily focusing on the London office while also assisting with remote requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on technical support for end-user applications, workstation hardware, and peripherals, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations and software applications.
  • Provide support for market data and trade execution platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve VPN connectivity and access issues for remote employees.
  • Perform daily operational tasks including morning status reporting, data centre checks, and management of trouble tickets.
  • Contribute to IT projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and office relocations.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in workstation technical support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Financial services industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in communicating with end users and providing swift issue resolution.
  • Experience with Microsoft desktop software, particularly Windows 11 and Office 365.
  • Skilled in workstation hardware troubleshooting and assembly.
  • Familiarity with market data applications such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv is advantageous.

Additional Information:

  • This role requires employees to work from the London office Monday to Friday.
