Investor Relations/Capital Markets Real Estate Analyst/Associate
Selby Jennings is partnered with a leading global real estate investment manager seeking to add an Analyst or Associate to its Investor Relations / Capital Markets team in Los Angeles. This is a highly visible opportunity sitting at the center of capital raising and institutional investor engagement across a diversified real assets platform.
The team works closely with senior leadership on fundraising strategy, investor communication, and execution across commingled funds, co-investments, and separate accounts. This role offers the opportunity to develop into a client-facing professional while gaining exposure to a global investor base.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing capital raising initiatives across multiple investment strategies
- Prepare and maintain investor materials, including presentations, DDQs, RFPs, and fund documentation
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage investor data rooms
- Partner with investment, finance, and operations teams to deliver accurate and compelling messaging
- Assist in managing relationships with institutional investors and consultants
- Contribute to investor communications, including quarterly updates and marketing materials
- Track fundraising pipelines and maintain CRM systems
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, investment banking, or investment management
- Exposure to real estate, private equity, or private markets preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for investors
- Highly organized with experience managing multiple concurrent processes
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Any exposure to AI is favored
