Our client, a highly regarded boutique investment bank with a strong track record across M&A and capital markets advisory, is seeking a talented Investment Banking Analyst to join their New York team. This is an exceptional opportunity for candidates with 1-2 years of direct investment banking experience who are looking to step into a high‑impact, execution‑focused role within a lean and dynamic platform.
What You'll Do
- Support the execution of M&A transactions, strategic advisory assignments, and capital-raising efforts across a diverse set of industries.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation analyses (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) and other transaction-support materials.
- Prepare client presentations, management presentations, confidential information memoranda, and committee materials.
- Conduct in‑depth company, industry, and market research to support strategic insights and idea generation.
- Assist in managing day‑to‑day deal processes, including due diligence coordination, data room management, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior bankers and clients, gaining exposure to high‑visibility, high‑responsibility workstreams from day one.
