Position Overview
Our client is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join their team. This individual will be instrumental in supporting transaction execution, conducting market research, and preparing client deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, precedent transaction, and trading comparables analyses.
- Prepare pitch materials, management presentations, and other client-facing documents.
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research, with a focus on software verticals such as SaaS, cybersecurity, and vertical market software.
- Support due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other external advisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred for Associate-level candidates.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting, ideally with exposure to technology or software.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated interest in software and technology business models.
