Overview

Our client, a leading financial institution seeking an experienced German Credit Sales professional to cover a broad range of institutional clients across the DACH region. This is a strategic hire for a high‑performing platform with strong existing client penetration. For the right candidate, the role will be plug‑and‑play, with all major lines already open and established.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover and develop relationships with German‑speaking institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, insurers, banks, hedge funds, and other buy‑side and sell‑side institutions.
  • Drive sales and distribution across the firm's credit product suite, spanning High Yield, Investment Grade, and broader flow credit markets.
  • Deliver market colour, trade ideas, and execution support tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal trading, research, and sales teams to provide seamless client coverage.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's credit franchise in the DACH region.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in German (essential).
  • Strong background in credit sales and experience covering institutional clients.
  • Existing relationships in the DACH market are highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑moving environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and client‑facing skills.
