Company Summary: We are partnered with a rapidly growing, private‑equity-backed manufacturing company known for its high‑quality, design‑driven products. The organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead core accounting operations, strengthen financial infrastructure, and support a scaling business. This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in an on‑site, fast‑paced manufacturing environment and wants to play a key role in operational and strategic decision-making.
Controller Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process and prepare financial reporting
- Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, treasury, and liquidity
- Oversee Accounts Payable and billing functions while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships
- Lead, mentor, and develop a four-person AP/AR team
- Manage sales and use tax compliance and filings
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Exposure to private equity environments
