Assistant Controller Qualifications:
▪ Leads monthly accounting close and financial reporting processes
▪ Collaborate on budgets, forecasts and financial planning to support company growth
▪ Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
▪ Drive process improvement initiatives across the organization
▪ Provide day-to-day oversight of accounts payable, receivable and general ledger activities
▪ Generates and distributes monthly reporting packages for internal stakeholders explaining
monthly variances
▪ Drive efficiencies through actual vs. budget variance analysis
▪ Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including GAAP, SOX and other
relevant policies
▪ Mentor junior staff fostering a culture of learning and excellence
Assistant Controller Qualifications:
▪ A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required
▪ At least 3 years' progressive experience in accounting/finance
▪ Supervisory experience preferred
▪ Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
▪ Organization, attention to detail, sense of urgency, maintain confidentiality
▪ Communicate effectively to internal and external customers in both oral and written form
▪ Ability to make independent decisions on routine office activities
▪ Ability to work with ITAR products and related data without restriction
