We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate to join our clients investment team. The Associate will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. This position offers significant exposure to all aspects of the investment process and the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Sourcing & Evaluation

    • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities.
    • Build and maintain relationships with bankers, advisors, and industry executives.
    • Screen potential investments and prepare initial assessments.
  • Due Diligence & Execution

    • Lead financial modeling and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis).
    • Coordinate due diligence efforts across legal, financial, operational, and commercial workstreams.
    • Assist in drafting investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee.
  • Portfolio Management

    • Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
    • Support strategic initiatives, including add-on acquisitions, refinancing, and exit planning.
    • Collaborate with management teams to drive value creation.
  • Fund Operations & Reporting

    • Assist with investor reporting, fund performance tracking, and internal portfolio reviews.
    • Support fundraising efforts and LP communications as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
