Senior Software Engineer (C++ Trading Systems) | Fixed Income Technology
In this role, you'll work closely with traders and engineering teams to design, build, and optimize high-performance trading systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about financial markets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and optimize low-latency C++ trading infrastructure
- Develop market data and order routing systems connecting directly to exchanges and execution venues
- Design and enhance order management and trade processing workflows
- Improve high-performance messaging and connectivity frameworks
- Create simulation and testing environments to support trading system development
- Partner with traders and quantitative teams to deliver scalable solutions across asset classes, with a strong emphasis on Fixed Income markets
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in modern C++ development on Linux
- Experience building low-latency, distributed, or real-time systems
- Strong understanding of networking, systems programming, and performance optimization
- Experience with Python and/or shell scripting
- Background within electronic trading, capital markets, or financial technology
- Fixed Income experience is highly desirable, including exposure to pricing, execution, market data, or trading workflows across rates, credit, or related products
