Position Overview:
Our client, a top tier insurance carrier, is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Property Claims Adjuster to the team. This role will be responsible for carrying out coverage review & determinations, claims investigation, administration, and completion. The ideal candidate should have experience handling commercial property claims. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze coverage, investigate losses, and drive claim strategy on complex commercial property claims from assignment through resolution.
- Partner with adjusters, engineers, legal counsel, and other external experts to evaluate damages and support claim outcomes.
- Establish and monitor claim reserves, identifying changes in exposure and recommending appropriate action plans.
- Communicate proactively with policyholders, brokers, and internal stakeholders while providing meaningful updates on significant losses.
- Draft coverage correspondence, executive loss summaries, and claim documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial property claims experience.
- Proven record of success in negotiation & investigation.
- Self-starter with ability to collaborate.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Bachelors degree is required.
