Overview
An elite trading firm is seeking a Developer Experience Platform Engineer to join their team.
This group builds the internal developer platform that helps engineers ship software faster and with less friction. Their focus is on improving everyday workflows including development, CI/CD, deployment, and operations providing strong defaults, intuitive tooling, and scalable automation. We treat engineers as customers and platform engineering as product development.
What You'll Do
- Build and operate shared developer tooling that improves velocity and reduces toil
- Create paved paths from code to production with safety and flexibility built in
- Standardize common delivery patterns to eliminate one‑off solutions
- Embed reliability, security, and observability into the developer experience
- Partner with teams to identify friction and turn it into platform improvements
- Introduce AI‑assisted development tools into the SDLC responsibly
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years in software, platform, or developer productivity engineering
- Experience with CI/CD systems and internal tooling
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Ruby
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and modern deployment workflows
- Proven impact improving developer productivity at scale
