Senior Health Actuarial Associate
We're partnering with a healthcare-focused team seeking a Senior Health Actuarial Associate to support a variety of projects across pricing, product development, claims analytics, value-based care, and healthcare strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex business challenges impacting health plans, provider organizations, and healthcare systems while partnering closely with senior leaders and clients.
Responsibilities
- Support actuarial and strategic projects across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA lines of business.
- Build pricing, forecasting, and financial models to support business decision-making.
- Analyze claims and healthcare data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to product development, provider strategy, and value-based care initiatives.
- Develop client & leadership-ready analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address operational, financial, and strategic healthcare challenges.
- 3-5 years of health actuarial experience.
- Progress toward ASA designation with multiple exams completed.
- Demonstrated career growth and increasing responsibility.
- Experience in one or more of the following: pricing, forecasting, claims analytics, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, or value-based care.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skill
