Sales Executive / Sales Associate (Individual Contributor)

Location: New York City or West Coast (Hybrid)

Our client is a high‑growth, international financial media and data platform with a strong brand presence across asset and wealth management. The business partners closely with investment firms, distributors, and financial institutions, offering a suite of products spanning digital content, data, events, and commercial partnerships. With significant momentum in the U.S. market, they are continuing to invest in their commercial team.

The Opportunity

The firm is hiring a Sales Individual Contributor to support continued U.S. growth. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is excited to build relationships, develop new business, and grow within a consultative, performance‑driven sales environment. This is a pure IC role with no people management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across a defined client base within asset and wealth management
  • Build and manage relationships with prospects and clients, positioning a multi‑product offering (digital, data, events, partnerships)
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach through close and ongoing account management
  • Develop a strong understanding of the firm's products, audiences, and value proposition
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking within the CRM
  • Collaborate closely with senior sales leadership, marketing, events, and editorial teams
  • Stay informed on industry trends within financial services, asset management, and investing

Desired Profile

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or commercial roles
  • Exposure to financial services, media, data, or information‑based products is a plus
  • Comfortable in a client‑facing, quota‑carrying role with clear performance expectations
  • Consultative communication style with strong relationship‑building skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and motivated to grow in a fast‑paced environment
  • Interest in the investment, asset management, or wealth management space

Location & Working Model

  • Based in NYC or the West Coast
  • Hybrid working model with office presence alongside a collaborative sales team
