A well‑established European investment platform is looking to hire a Junior Associate to join its private credit team focused on the DACH region. The role offers hands‑on exposure across the full transaction lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on origination, execution, and portfolio management of mid‑market private debt investments.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the assessment and execution of private credit transactions across German‑speaking markets
- Reviewing and analysing business plans, financial performance, and cash flows to support credit decision‑making
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models to evaluate leverage, repayment capacity, and downside scenarios
- Preparing investment materials and internal documentation for approval processes
- Supporting ongoing monitoring of existing investments, including financial reviews and performance analysis
- Producing high‑quality presentations and analyses for internal stakeholders and external counterparties
- Contributing to broader team initiatives and internal projects as the platform continues to grow
- Developing relationships with advisors, lenders, and other market participants at a junior level
Ideal Profile
- Around 2-4 years' experience in private debt, leveraged finance, debt advisory, or a related investment or banking role
- Strong grounding in financial analysis, credit risk, and capital structures
- Comfortable working with financial models and complex transaction data
- Exposure to loan documentation and transaction processes is advantageous
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to operate in a fast‑moving investment environment
- Native‑level German and fluent English required
- Strong academic background in finance, economics, business, or a comparable discipline
