Middle Office Analyst - Leading Quant Hedge Fund
Our client is a fast-growing, Paris-based quantitative investment manager specialising in systematic, market-neutral equity strategies. The firm has experienced significant growth in recent years, with assets under management now exceeding $1bn, driven by strong performance and increasing institutional demand.
The firm is seeking an Operations Analyst to support its continued expansion and operational scalability. This role sits within a lean operations team and offers broad exposure across middle and back-office functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of trades, cash, and positions with prime brokers and fund administrators
- Review and validation of NAV (P&L, balance sheet, fee calculations)
- Collateral and cash management, including margin calls
- Monitor trade lifecycle events (corporate actions, settlements)
- Oversee fund expenses and operational controls
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
- Build and enhance automation tools (Python)
- Develop dashboards and reporting (Tableau / PowerBI)
Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years' experience in operations within asset management or hedge funds
- Strong Python skills (automation / tooling focus)
- Good understanding of equities, derivatives, futures, and FX
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
