Medior Financial Controller
For a fast‑growing organisation based in Amsterdam, we are seeking a Financial Controller who will independently manage a client portfolio and contribute to the quality and development of the finance team.
Role Overview
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for a designated group of clients and ensure the accurate and timely execution of financial and tax‑related activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and reviewing financial administrations;
- Processing bank statements, purchase and sales invoices;
- Preparing payment proposals, periodic reports, and VAT returns;
- Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts;
- Responding to client queries and ensuring timely follow‑up;
- Identifying process improvements;
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior colleagues.
Your Profile
- HBO or WO degree in Accountancy, Business Economics, or a related field;
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Independent, structured, and detail‑oriented working style;
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset;
- Professional proficiency in Dutch is a plus;
