Manufacturing Controller
Job Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting operations across multiple entities, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
- Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting to leadership to support decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial analysis for business planning
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls around cash management, reconciliations, and technical accounting areas
- Manage and improve accounting systems (QuickBooks and related tools) to support scalability and efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes as needed
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate accounting with a focus on financial reporting and operational ownership
- Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar systems (NetSuite, Sage, Xero)
- Solid technical foundation in reconciliations, account analysis, and financial statement preparation
- Experience with cash management, forecasting, and multi-entity environments
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, lean environment
- Real estate, development, or construction accounting experience preferred
- CPA or public accounting background is a plus
